Advice for noob

so I just got my first three wheeler. its an 85 honda 250sx.

what advice would would you people give a noob like me. as far as maintenece(sp), trails, safety, working on it, etc...

Rebuild carb kit,air filter,new plug.Check the bearing for play in the axle,steerer stem,swingarm,front wheel.

what do you mean play in the axle?:wondering

Grab the handelbars and push side to side to see if the rear bearing are worn.There will be play if they are bad.Go over it and make shure no bolts are loose on the whole machine.Change the oil.
