I have recently purchased a WSM piston for my 200x. where are WSM pistons made? Will it work well for me? thanks.

dont know where there made, but i put one in my 200x 5 years ago, and i still the bike getting beat on around town on the same topend.
and i put on in my blaster. it took a beating from a rod shim and was fine..:beer

I've heard they're pretty good as well. WSM makes replacement Banshee cranks, coolheads and other stuff.
Anything will work well if you properly rebuild the engine.

I asked the same question and lots of people bashed them as junk, but many people have used them in two stroke watercraft motors for years. I think they have a different clearance spec than Wiseco so I agree about how people set them up. I think they are cast not forged.

i haven't had much luck with them in my pwc's, but they failed by my error. I've been runnin one in my 4 stroke quad for 2 years though.

I installed them WSM a couple days ago and it fired right up. So far so good. keep the posts comin'. thanks
