Hi Everyone,
Last weekend while riding, I hit a pretty big bump unexpectedly and threw my chain off the rear sprocket on my 185s. I had to walk a couple hundred yards back to my truck to get my tools. I was able to fix this and continue riding, but having to take off the extra bolts for the bearing seal/chain guard was more time consuming than I would have liked. Is it ok to leave off the rear portion of the chain guard? Any downsides to doing so? I know most of the quads/dirtbikes around my spot don't seem to have any such device.
Thanks,
Blazer
