i finally got time to work on the intake department. i cut different lenth tubes in 1/2 inch increments for tuning it. drag racing starts next weekend.:beer
now i need to find a hole to hide the fuel pump. with the fuel tank where the airbox cover was, i don have anymore room up there. im thinking of hiding it in the boost bottle and capping the hose off..;)

Do you still need a fuel pump with a top mounted tank? Isn't that gravity fed?

either way it's lookin good. more pics please.

there is no reason to have the pump if *Edited**Edited* tank is higher than your carb. yes that is gravity fed. make sure u have a breather tho. also are u making a tank or using one that you found that would fit good.

I could be wrong, but chances are he is setting the bike up for alky. Gotta have the pump to feed the beast!:w00t:

Isn't alcohol consumed at a rate almost 3 times that of fuel? Bigger feeder lines with HUGE jets. Also hear it attracts moisture, so it's a good idea to fog engine after use. What is the power advantage on average for alky?? Is it more resistant to detonation so higher comp can be run, and altered timing?

here is the tank..i put a vent into the custom cap, way ahead of ya on that:lol:
i bough the tank last year, it holds 1 gallon 4 oz.s, its lighter than the stock plastic one empty
i want to hide the pump, so you cant see it. maybe they will notice the powerjet and different cap on the carb, depends on if they know what to look for:naughty:
