Mine sure does... ... I went to the dunes over the weekend and had a great time... My tecate put many 450's and banshees in their places... After pulling them in drag races and out climbing them in the trees they were a lil suprised...:wondering ... But after leaving them through tight rutted worm trails and miles of whoops they didnt have much to say... ... Deep inside I know they all want to buy trikes now...:beer I can only imagine what will happen after my forks are working properly and I have some front brakes on her...

Awesome! Glad to hear it's running so well. I to have put many new 450's on the shelf. The young riders always have a sort of stunned look. Hopefully this year i'll do even better. I am in no way saying the 450's are slow. They are fast for sure. But can be beat with a careful and properly tuned setup. It's a great goal to shoot for, and when you do beat em, you know you've done something right.

450's are indeed very fast... especially with mods... I am happy to run anywhere close to them, I built my tecate with trails and all around use in mind.... not racing... I had no idea it would run so well... the broad powerband makes the wide trans almost unnoticable, and the heavy flywheel makes it really easy to ride.. I love how people with no direct experience with trikes just dont know the potential... If it isnt seen in a magazine they assume its junk...

Ive had 1 chance to race a quad and I blew it. I dont know what he had, but I was on my 350x. The front end went up at the start(vertical) and that was all she wrote. Nope, I didnt go over backwards, but almost did! There will be other times though! :w00t:

Over the years I've had the delightful opportunity to school the often younger quad kids on what an "old dinosaur " 2-stroke 3-wheeler can do several times. I usually just sat back and watch them trying to assault a hill that I know I can climb, wait for them to throw in the towel, then roost over the top(never failed to draw cheers and yells/nods of "he*l yeah!".

Then there's the kids/guys that think that their new quad HAS to be able to smoke the "old dinosaur"......only to find out that I may be riding a dinosaur, but it's a Tyrannosaurus.

Dammit!
