View Full Version : Custom 110's
Has anyone ever made a custom 110 on this forum? Say something with suspension etc? That would be awesome!

Could you group that in with the custom 70's? If so, then there's a hell of a lot of them around.

I only know of one "suspension" 110, and that is mymint87s' trike. The 90\110 just doesn't have the following of the other trikes. I like the old atc90\110s. I would love to find a suspension frame for the 90\110. I have suspension frames for the 185s and the atc70 and half of a suspension kit for a ytm125. I've never been much of a fabricator, but, it would be interesting to see kasey do a 90\110 suspension frame. The only 90 based engine with a proper frame that I know of is an sl90, and they are few and far between. Now there have been a few suspension 90\110 frames located, but the finder of them has not cut loose with any yet. I know I've been searching for one for a long time. There was a butchered frame on ebay a few years ago, but that set up looked very dangerous. Suspension frame setup designs are not for the faint hearted or for the welding challanged like myself. I can only think of 4 or so people that have the skills to even think of handling a challenge like this. I would love to see one of these suspenion 90\110 frames built. You would pretty much have to design a new frame as I really don't believe that a stock stamped steel frame would begin to handle all the stresses that the stock frame would be subjected too. As far as custom 110s, several people have built no suspended custom trikes. Some people have used 200x front ends or 200s front ends or even aftermarket front ends. The parts for the 110s are getting harder and harder to find. Not many people are building 110s with custom frames. I have a couple aftermarket frames that are slated for builds and even just sent a chromoly nicholson frame down to arkansas slated for an already built trike for a frame change. I have a custom framed 110 pretty much done and ready to go. I hope more people will be building custom 90\110 trikes.
