I have a 1987 200x that I am looking to put on ebay. I am torn about the reserve price I should set on this machine. I am inclined to set it high ($1500 or so) as it seem to be a very rare machine and is in excellent shape. It has all new bearings, rebuilt front forks and the motor is flawless. Just wonder if I am unrealistic about my asking amount?

That's looks to easily be a $1500 machine. Although ebay has been kinda hit and miss lately. good luck with your sale.

I'd say you pretty ballpark with reserve.

There are a few pick on items though, such as the rusted header, bent grab bar and the fact that WE can't really see it that good.

Muffler need paint ?

How is the rear suspension parts and under side, chain and sprockets ?

It is a very decent trike though, just wanted to point out possible parts that will devalue it a little and make sure you really SHOW the trike from all angles.

I love those 87's man, nice trikes!! :beer

Unless your willing to ship, don't set the reserve that high.

Count on 25% or more - less than the amount you could get if you were willing to ship it.

It does look to be a 1200$ and up machine.

Does it have the keyswitch? If it does, it's worth 200$ more than another without one.

Whatever happened with the bent axle? Got a good one in there now? New bearings too?

Yes, it needs a little cosmetic help. Grab bar has been bent. Mechanically it needs nothing. The plastic has no cracks, but has some fading to it. Tank has some paint chips, but no dents. Suspension is perfect, front forks rebuilt with new seals, rear shocks works great.
