I have a 1989 atc200x. I have been looking at my fork tubes for a few months now wondeirng when and how I'm going to rebuild these old crappy wore out forks. Well I looked on ebay and found lots of forks for other atc 200x's of earlier years. Would the earlier years fit my tripple clamp and other parts like the fornt wheel, brake caliper etc. Thx. Oh by the way one of the years was 1985. thx

Or is there a better fork off some other honda 3 wheeler like 250x forks and how much work would you be looking at if you did that.

There is no such creature as an 1989 200x 3 wheeler. You must have the only one in the world. I wish you luck in trying to find parts for such a rare machine. The parts should interchange between an 85 and 87 atc200x though. Just busting your balls man.

83-85 200xs are completely different from the 86 and 87s. Front forks/triples will interchange. There are a few more exceptions ive found like the rear axle and other little thing.

I have a set of 86/87 forks for cheap if you're interested. Shafts are in great shape with no/extremely little amounts of rust, and they've just been refilled with Ryde "Slide" 5 weight suspension fluid.
PM me if you're interested.
