got the topend torn off and sent out to be ported. also running about 150lbs of compression, still think the squish is too large. the 300 topend doesnt have as much
power as my 250 did. oh well, still the fastest atv in the area :twisted:

just put a new red oring chain on her, looks prety sharp along the black axle and swinger.

Who is the cylinder goin to for the porting? I really like your paint scheme, but those shrouds look hazardous... lol...

Goin to Flotek, Mr. Dennis Mears.

and everyone has something to say about the shrouds lol. almost noone has liked them here on the boards.

I didnt say I did not like them... lol.. I said they look hazardous... I hear nothing but good things about Flotek... It should be a handfull when its done...

Ya know what? F- k other people.... I think there just fine... What am I supposed to do with my 86 200X scoops?? Don't run anything at all if it's shot? or what the hell is wrong with this guys shrouds? Does the job, is aluminum, lightweight and could be polished up.

By the way, I LIKE THEM.

Ditto, very sharp and pointy edges. I do a hell of a lot of riding straight through stationary Elk herds, if I had those scoops on my bike, I would have several impaled on either side of the tank before the sheer weight of 20 or 30 Elk being impaled on the tank scoops crushed the entire bike flat.

Just remember to be careful, you might snag a rabid badger or two, and if you don't kill them first, they may work themselves loose and attack you.

Lol.... Sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh... I guess with the lack of shroud availability I'm kinda at my wits end. I can get everything else but can't get shrouds and I NEED THEM!!

I have a bunch of thin diamond plate and I was gonna make some up myself. I'll just round the corners real well so they are safe but nobody better call them GHETTO!!

LMAO you guys are a riot! :beer

those are actually quite thick, a would say maybe a hair less than 1/4 inch thick.
i had some black ones made out of....some kind of plastic, definitely homemade. :wondering

and they are polished, the pic doesnt seem to capture them. :mad:

and actually, i was hoping to catch someone like TRR in the head with one of those bad boys :naughty: :crazy:
