I put my motor halfway back together today and its going good. Found more gears that were chewed up and replaced them. But now I have the clutch put on and I dont know how much torque to put on the 4 bolts with the springs on the otherside of the plate. I couldnt find it in my manual. Anyone?

Those are the tiny clutch spring bolts? 10mm head, 6mm thread? about 5-7 ft lbs. I just use a small 1/4 ratchet and take it easy on them, they snap easy because everyone is paranoid that they will loosen up....

you gotta make sure they are all the way in (bottom out) then torque them, and go in a criss cross pattern so its even all the way around.

Perfect guys. After I wear off supper (have a nap) I'll go tighten them down and torque them at 5-7 ft lbs.
