I recently purchased a 1985 250SX. It's currently torn apart to replace the broken shift pin. I just picked up an 86 200X, and would like to put the front end on the SX. I read where you can't change the triple tree, because the 200X triple is narrower, and it will hit the tank when you turn. If you use the 200X forks in the 250SX tree, you'd have to add spacers to the axle and caliper, wouldn't you? I also wanted to use the aluminum rims off the 200X, but the brake drum hit the rim. What aluminum wheels will fit the 250SX rear end? 400EX? I assume they'd need to be 9". Please give me a few ideas. I want to make this a nice trail ride, and the aluminum wheels make it look nicer. Thanks. Scott

you can swap tons of different front ends onto the SX. Main thing is to redo the steering stops so you DON'T hit the tank accidentally...or just be careful. :)
