If you can, find a XR 200 cam. I had good luck with a powroll cam in my 185 S.

200x cam works great. its what im using. all you need to do is readjust the valves to the 200x specs or you may get some piston to valve contact.
its a fairly simple job to do. just take the rocker cover off, take out the pulse generator (the assembly under the cover that says cdi), take off the sprocket (dont let the chain fall into the case) then take out the old cam. after that put the "new" cam in lobs down , put the rocker cover on with sealent and tighten it down (make sure you dont put too much sealant on or it will seep into the cam bearing and oile vein.) next make sure the piston is tdc (top dead center) then put you put the chain on the sprocket and match the holes up by jumping the chain from tooth to tooth until the bolt holes align perfect. that is the most important part because if the piston goes out of tdc or the cam moves it will cause the timming to go out and we wouldnt want that. after you get the sprocket on put the pick up housing and stuff back in, adjust the valves and your good to go.
i know it sounds complicated but its not hard at all. but to answer your question.....yes get a manual to help ya out.
good luck and happy moding
