After sitting since the first couple snowfalls this fall I decided to dig out the 200s and try to start it. Ashamed to say I didnt do anything to winterize it and didnt even have room to put it in the garage so it had to sit out in the cold all winter, heres how it looked. On the left is one of my foremans, the bump next to it is the 200s.

I kicked out a hole in the snow to find the recoil and reach in to put the choke on.

I then half heartedly gave it one pull, it sputtered a bit! Gave it another and it fired up like it was running just yesterday!

Grabbed the rear rack, gave it a shake, and the trike emerged victoriously from its icy tomb.

Little bit of shoveling in front and it came right out, only needed a bit of air in the left rear and all is well. I really didnt think it would run, I was gonna dig it out, load it in the truck, and toss it in a heated shop for the weekend. Freakin amazing.

I also shoveled off the quad, turned the key and suprisingly the lights came on, choked it and hit the electric start and vrooom away she went, I thought for sure the battery would be shot from the cold we had this year but it wasnt. Must be one helluva mechanic that tuned them up last summer ;)

Still have to get the 185s started, was having carb trouble last fall, I have a freshly rebuilt carb here, just gotta get it put on and it too should be good to go.

Just thought I would share what everyone here knows, which is these machines kick ass :w00t:

I am fairly new to this forum and since i have been here I have been trying to figure out why there are so many 3 wheelers still around up north compared to here and now I know. Although many of these trikes are 21-28 years old, they have been cryogenically preserved for 3/4 of the time..............................:wondering

Only got about 5 feet this year which still isnt too bad, had about 8 last year though, that was awesome. Its starting to melt though... which means trike season is approaching!

they have been cryogenically preserved for 3/4 of the time....lol actually this is the first time this trike has seen snow since about 1990 or so, was sitting in the corner of a heated shop since then till I got it last fall. You are right that finding them up here isnt that hard, trying to pry them out of the owners hands is the hard part!
