Well I raced my bro's 2000 Banshee last weekend with my 85 250R. Very even race. The Bansh was about 20 feet ahead of me at about 5mph. We both hit it and I caught him. By then he was in the meat of his powerband (30mph??) and he then stayed along side me. When I reached top speed I pulled away...slightly. But, they are basically the same.

I did have a slipping clutch and crappy tires(I got cheap ass no names on the rear and he has brand new Holeshots). The third drag race the clutch was slipping REALLY bad. It is almost unridable unless I dink around in first or second gear.

Question: What brand of clutch is good?

Honda OEM clutches are great for most people. I dont see much practicality in suffering the pull of a Barnett heavy duty setup, unless you are going through clutches frequently.
