Bought a 1974 Honda 70 the other day for $150. Not in bad shape, missing one rear fender, orig. seat, missing front fender, has a '84 Honda 70 tank on it and what looks like an exhaust off of a small XR dirt bike. All in all pretty solid and runs decent. I want to build it up for my nephew to have a reliable ride when he is old enough, hes only 2 right now. Looking for parts if anyone has anything laying around. Are there any aftermarket cams, intakes, carbs or anything else for these things? Already have it down to the frame, will post pics along the way. Thanks guys. :beer :beer :beer

Cool, post some pics!!!! Here is a guy parting one on ebay now. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZscoop4softball
Parts are out there but not super easy to find. 73-74 stuff is the same, some of the 78-85 stuff fits but not a whole lot. Dr ATV has a bunch of good stuff for them.

there are a couple of things diferent from the 73/74 the exhaust and rear cover to name a couple, but seeing as though your not doing a full on resto i wouldnt worry to much.
