Just curious to know what people have paid for their tri z in the past to get an idea of how bad i got ripped off when i bought mine. I love the bike, dont get me wrong, but now with the knowledge i have, i know i paid too much($2200.00 in this condition, to be exact) Oh, to go back in time. Oh well. Anybodey else?

What it comes down to,
if it ran good, and everything about it was great, then I wouldnt worry about the price you paid.
I bought my Z for 1 grand in poor shape. To date I easily have 5 g notes in it.
The money dosent bother me at this point, its gone, and I have a fun bike.
Thats a really nice Z man! First time Ive seen a good pic of it!

Thanks bro, not as clean anymore due to lack of tooth brushes :) but still just as mechanically sound and i do love it for life but its tough seeing them go for $1200.00 or so on ebay in decent shape, but what can you do.
i think you got a fair price, and a sweet z.

people here care about looks, nothing else. a 2006 400ex with broken plastics went down to 1200, just because the plastics.

Looks good to me for that price if everything is there and works.
I paid $2500 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS! for '85 Z in about the same condition,
although needed rear bearings and new tyres, plastics a bit faded.
Not many trikes come up for sale over here in Perth, especially in good nick.
And who cares what it cost if thats your hobby and you love it.

Ditto on the above statement. You have a very nice tri-z there, and did well on the price. Looks to be very clean. Keep it nice, and you'll always be able to re-coop your money.

i paid 300 for mine, but it was a POS wen i got it. now i have into it about what you paid for yours, (inclueding buying it) and still dont have a motor that runs.
so i think you paid a decent price
Thats a very nice Z and if your happy with it then thats all that counts dude.

1200 for my 86 in KY. Needed work cosmetically. 1750 for my 85 in the same shape as yours.

thanks for the compliments and the heads up guys, good to have comparisons other than what ive seen on ebay. Gonna rebuild the rear end and the swinger soon, it has some play but nothing unsafe or to noticable when riding. Other than that, its still like new. oh ya, its got a close to knewly rebuilt 86 low end on it now to. Love the extra 8-10 mph from that 6th gear.
