will an 83-85 200x silencer work on an 86 200X as long as I use thier prespective headpipe?

The aftermarket ones are similar, Im sure you could make one work fairly easily. Even stock there adaptable.

:wondering the stock muffler themselfes on 83-85 200x are longer & the front headpipe diameter is smaller on 83-85 models
