85-86 250r forks ?

will they fit in 86 350x tripples. is there any differences in the two?

no, the r forks are larger diameter.

the 83-84 forks will slide into the 350x clamps, but they are trailing axle, unlike the 350x's leading axle.

you can take the slider tubes out of the 83-84 r forks and put them in the lower fork tubes of the 350x if your 350x sliders are bent

i think you can take a whole 85 + 250r front end and put it on the 350x. Trips and all. You will need the entire setup though, brakes and all
