I would really jump on that if I were you. 1000$ is cheap for a nice Big Red these days, and that on really looks well taken care of.

WOW! Looks almost new. My only concern would be the front rack. Has something been dropped on it? Or has it been run into a wall and the wheel and forks been pushed back? Probably niether but a good starting point for negociating discount...
Don't worry about the tyres, my Br's got Mud Puppy/ Trail pro's front and back!

Hair Bear beat me to it... agree on the front rack. Looks a bit dented? Like he said could be a good way to get the price down a bit. Even though for $1000... the machine looks pretty darn good from what I can see... as far as parts go... you won't have a problem. Some parts like carbs and rear diffs can be pricey at times..... but chances are you won't even need em if its been well kept..... any close up pics? :beer

Any news?
Just another thought, my Br was a real basket case when I got it, but it had it's original tyres on it. You have to wonder just how much work it's done to warrant replacing the tyres. Is there more to it's history than meets the eye?

Still not sure about the rack! The righthand view seems to show a wide gap between the tank and the bars, which comes back to 'is the headtube straight?'
Might be the angle I'm looking from. Just my opinion...
