Don't tell me you flat-blacked the TIRES. GIT IT RAGG.

Now it's time for a set of twin straight pipes, some ape hangers... maybe a sissy bar...

Chopper forks...

The tires didnt get sprayed. they got cleaned and then my boss took it out in the back lot and i didnt feel like cleaning the tires off again. you can see dust and dirt on the sidewalls

A rectifier diaode will allow you to charge the powercell off the lighting coil.

I cant believe you actually did it. Did you put any bracing under the rear fenders or did it work the way it is?

what would be some good tires to get for desert riding?

RedRider_AK
02-11-2008, 12:56 AM
Desert riding? What kind of desert are we talkin' about, sand dunes, or rocky stuff?

Trail Pros are the best tire for ANY terrain, guaranteed.

Trail pros??????? My friend has them on a yamaha 3 wheeler, and 18'' tires do better in ice and snow than they do.?? Best all around tire would probably be the razrs or anyother sport oriented tire. I like my surtraks since you can flip them to go through mud or sand.

 Thats about all those Xplods are good for.
How are those Fusion amps? Overated...underated?
I've been interested in trying them out pretty soon, one of the shops here has said a lot of good things about them.

I swear by all the Fusion products ive used.

i've never encountered a bad fusion product or a bad audiobahn product...except for anything audiobahn makes with a pulp cone, but if you're going that route, you deserve to have it break.

take those explodes, and wire em for 10 times the amount of power they are rated for, it's good for a laugh.

we hooked a set of tweeters up to a audiobahn highcurrent amp, pushing a consistent 1500 watts and peaking over 2500...they didn't make a sound, but when the grills for the two tweeters touched, it looked like someone was welding,
always wanted to do it to a sub.

We'll probably plug them straight into the wall
They sit at 60Hz until they blow. some of them start on fire :) we like to pour gas and other shop flammables on them when we do it

ha yeah, if you do that you get a constant tone...we honestly tried to play music with the tweeters...good stuff.

you know that's how legacy gets their wattage ratings...they submerge their amps in liquid nitrogen and run stupidly high voltage through them.

Thats how alot of companies do it. I know Mtx used to pump voltage through to compare subs.

Audiobahn on the other hand.. ehhh. Never been a big fan of the "bling."
Overpriced and overatted in my opinion, BUT I haven't heard much of there high end stuff.

I've had an audiobahn high current amp running at 14+ volts, 1 ohm, and with the gain all the way up since 2001.

that particular amp is only meant to push 1200rms...in testing it's pushing well over 1500, I honestly don't think it can be killed. iamshmee on here has the 4 channel intake series...supposed to push 35 watts rms. it's pushing 137/155 at 4/2 ohm. some of their products are ridiculously well built, I wouldn't touch their components or cheaper subs though.

BAH MTX!!!! there is a company I will never purchase a thing from.

That scares me. What sub/s are you pushing?
Absolutely no way you can't be clipping.
No offence though, just wondering.

originally 2 flame Q 12s in a 6.4 cubic foot ported box...now 3 Sound Q 10s in a 3.3 cubic foot box.

there are no jumps in power...the wattage is consistent without spikes. though right now the amp isn't getting nearly the power it needs in my xb, my old car had a much beefier alternator and it had been respun...this one is the stocker, and ultimately crap, so it isn't run all out as much anymore, with these 10s its more for sound quality not quantity, goes great with the MbQuart components.

it never ceases to amaze me when some kid pulls up to a stoplight with 1 pioneer 12 blaring rap music and begging for attention. that's usually the moment where I will turn it up about 1/2 way, embarrass him so he turns it down, and then just turn mine back down to a nice level that can't be heard outside the car..well...bass anyways.

MbQuart's are the sex.
Those don't come stock in the Scion do they? Stock setups are getting better and better in new vehicles.

The Goat
02-11-2008, 02:54 AM
na, stock is pioneer. I replaced the stock 6.5s with 2 component sets powered by a kicker 800.4. everything is hidden quite well. to be honest...they are very very clear, but they are nowhere near as loud as my infinity perfect setup I had in my last car.

After the big buildup for this trike, I was kind of disappointed. Just hang a couple speakers on a trike??? You better come bigger than that if you want to impress people around here, especially after the buildup of how cool it was going to be. And don't try to say "don't be a hater", cause there are plenty of trikes on here that aren't partciularly my cup of tea but are impressive builds none the less.
