84 250r Power Ect...

Basically, what is the difference between these, two, besides the exception of being air cooled. Can the 84 hold its own against other quads of today? I really want to get out there and beat some quads. What is the speed of these? Any more info. you have would be appreciated. Thanks.

That depends on whose riding it. While out practicing for races, wed routinely blow away every one else on all sorts of ATVs just from riding skill. Not a little, but 5-10 laps in the woods.

The Rs, Tri Zs, 200Xes, 350Xes when modified, were about the same, UNTIL you come across a 250R thats properly built. Not much can keep up with them. The power is brutal. Never could catch a Quadzilla, but thats a 500 cc engine.
