This post does reference EBAY but I wanted to share something that I've gained from there that helps me immensely because we buy used stuff that people alter. I put it here because I want everyone to read it.
With the auctions showing some mint OEM parts you guys should be saving allot of these pictures. The big dollar auctions usually take about 10 or more pictures.
What they show is proper placement of stickers, cable routing, brackets you might be missing, original coating types, grommet placement, tire type and sizes, how brakes are setup and so many more tidbits of information.
When I want to know what something is supposed to look like and how it's mounted, I just turn to all the pictures I've saved.
It's definitely an excellent resource for us to use.
