What would win??? 85 Yamaha 225DR VS 83 Honda 200

That is my question which would win in a race? a 85 yamaha 225DR or a 83 honda 200? Also what are the top speeds for those two machines?

dr would win in an acceleration, and top speed. my dr will top out a little above 60. i finally held it full, and it was FUN!! hehe... IMHO the 200 will top out at 45-55. my 225 has a good race with a 250 big red, but it pulls away at higher speeds, so i would have to say that the dr will win against the 200

yamahas r sweet but every time i buy a trimoto it dont wanna run! lol but this last one is sweet just needs new carb its a 200 e '85. would it beat a 200s?

200x's (83-85) will blow 225dx's away...atleast mine will...a kid about 4 miles away from me has one, i was ridin down the road and he pulled out of a field beside me, i downshifted from 5th to 4th and he downshifted and looked at my trike like it wasnt anything, then he nodded (somep ohioans have a thing for nodding....haha) and we stopped.....i nodded, he nodded and i took off.....he had me until i shifted into 4th (i have no 2nd gear, its gone) and after i shifted from 4th to 5th it was neck and neck, then i got about a half a bike length away and he stopped and turned around!!!!! i was thinkin to myself "i wasnt finished!!!"

speed, they will blow them away? hmm, you were only a 1/2 bike length away... my dr will keep up with a 400ex until 4th, then i don't have the power like the 400 does. plus, the dr goes about 10 mph faster than the stock x ....

did you see that it said something about him stopping and turning around during the race???? and besides isnt the dr different from a dx??? my 200x is far from stock....love how all of you jump to conclusions

I am having trouble believing that. There was a thread a while back it was a 350x vs. 400ex and a lot of people said the 400ex was a lot better than the 350x and I think the 350x is better than a dx or dr. ?

my dr will top out a little above 60. thats way hard to belive considering my 350x topps out around 62-65 and ive never found one that could even think about keepin up with me
