Anyone know of a way to fix plastic gas tanks? Both my tecates have holes in the same spot. And nothing is rubbing them. I have tried to heat it up like my fenders but that did not work. Can you get them lined?

They (the dealerships) sell something called creme coat or red coat or alligator coat or something that you can use to line your tanks.
Oh, wait...plastic tanks?? i don't know. I guess you could try it still.
I know someone on here sealed there plastic tank to try and keep the fumes from bubbling their decals off.

Try JB Welding a patch inside, then filling the outside. Must be vibration eating away at the plastic?
Some auto repair shops have plastic welding machines, they might be able to weld the hole

Its the 85 model. The holes are appearing on the bump for the gas tank strap. Right on the edge. Both tanks.
