I can't find the thread now but this isn't a direct swap is it? Do you need to use the TRX linkage? Does it matter what year? If you have to use the TRX linkage is it the same length as the ATC linkage (same ride height)?

Also, anybody know if a dual rate spring setup from Works will fit a stock 250R shock?

if i remember i had to use the trx linkage, and that was it.the spacers on the top of the shock are a little bit thicker, and i had to grind them down to make the dust caps fit.i have a elka set up for a 150lb a-class rider on my trike.i am 175lb. b class rider and it is perfect.hope that helps

You need the linkage since there's a 1mm difference in the bottom bolt that holds everything together. You can get that hole thing pretty cheap.

Good to know the linkage will fit, I snagged an '86 TRX250R linkage on ebay to find out, should have it by this weekend... My Marvin Shaw shock has holes that seem to be a better fit for the bigger linkage bolt, plus I wanted to use the Pivot Works linkage rebuild kit on my '85.

Some of those ebay linkages must be solid gold, the price variations are pretty wild on them...
