Yes I have some small cracks in the case and its leaking a bit of oil. Anyone know what I can use to patch them up. I used some gasket sealer on one and it seemed to work, but I would like something more permanent and works a bit better.

Epoxy, JB weld is the best your gonna do without tearing it apart and having it TIG welded.

depending where the cracks are you dont have to tear it down to tig weld it...... as long as they are not at a gasket

No not a gasket. Just a couple of hairline cracks. Thanks for the help. Its been a nightmare with this thing lately. It runs so good. It is a total blast to ride.

Where you get that lab-metal? Should I use the high temp. stuff or just regular? I am a welder and I don't think its something I could do without ripping it apart, which i'm not doing. I'm afraid of boiling a gasket, oil or cracking it worse.

Welding /epoxyis not the problem, stopping the cracks from running is. That usually takes drilling the crack so it stops running. Ive fixed 250R cases with welding, but its not easy.
