I'm having a heck of a time with my rear brake hub search. the one I bought off ebay came to me scored around the part that slides into the bearing carrier. do you guys think that will tear my seal up? and I need to find out if the hub in the pic is for a 86. I need a 85 hub and a 86 for my extended swinger when it gets built. I wish I had just bought a 85 swinger.

a new one would be nice but if you are running sealed bearings i would not worry about that to much

looking at the picture of the brake rotors and hubs the one on the right is a 85. the one on the left is not from a 350X.
the seal surface is shot and will tear up your outer seal. but like basket said if your running a seald bearing you will be ok.

Thanks, I'm using a rad carrier with double sealed bearings. my question is, How does the grease from the zerk enter the bearing if the bearings are sealed?

I think the rotor carrier that only has three bolts for the rotor is for a 200x.

Made some headway today, I got some of the parts bolted together. I'll install the durablue axle tommrow, I also have to buff out the front wheel. yeee haaa! I'm going to use that hub until I can find another one. I did'nt even think to look at my 200x to see if that other one fit it. thanks for the input. what do you guys think of the bike so far? To much red???

Its powdercoat. I'm going with red fenders, duralblue axle and white plastic tank. and a new headlight, and paddle tires for the dunes!
