OK... so can anyone tell me if an '82 250r hub will fit without issue into a 200x front end? Is the front axle the same size (diameter wise)? ANyhelp would be greatly appreciated!

82 250R is the old style non-liquid cooled wide style front end. 200X front ends use a narrower tire than that old fatty.

I doubt they would interchange.

See I'm not really going to use it on a 200x... I'm currently designing a full suspension frame for my ATC70 and am contemplating using a 200x front end to save on the cost of milling custom triple clamp assembly. blue27 has really helped me out with some measurements of his bad-*Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* "mini-Tiger" A+, but i'm still doing a cost analysis.

The reason I'm thinking about using the '82 250r front hub is because (if I'm not mistaken) the 250r and 200x both measure 11" center-to-center fork tube and it has a 4/110 bolt pattern which would let me use a common 8" wheel up front. (that way i can get the cool atc250r look with the tall skinny front tire and small fatty's on the rear :) )

So what do you guys think? Does anyone have an '82 r they can measure for me? And while I'm at it, Does anyone know what the length and diameter of 200x forks are? Thanks again for nay help.
