this is the 1986 tecate i bought about 2 months ago i have been in the process of rebuilding the engine and painting and polishing everything this is it so far. it looks better without my crappy plastic on it but its all i have.

i just took a 1985 tecate swing arm and lengthened it out. i wanted to extend my stock alumnium one but i dont have a tig welder yet.

What hubs are those?

they are raptor hubs so i could put my 8 inch wheels on the tecate.

Mine is the same way... oh well... nice plastic wont make it any funner to ride or any faster... IMO good performance looks better than nice appearance...

true that but the rolling chassis looks so nice its sad to disgrace it with my plastic.

Time to paint the plastic! Search for the 2008 KLX 450 or 250 on ebaymotor. The headlight off those bikes would look awsome on a trike.

yeah i was going to paint it but i dont even have a front fender. i might check out those headlights, good idea, thanks
