You would need a 5 foot swingarm to keep the front end down !! Even that wouldn't do probably!

It's right here honda250sx ..............

Yikes, I would like to see the finished product. I wonder how they did the crank? Wonder if it has a counterbalacer of some sort. That thing cant stay together long thats for sure! Thanks Huffa.

That was "supposedly" built by trick racing. They've been called out at alot of forums and races and have never showed. Most people assume it was never finished. CPI industries makes all kinds of huge cylindered things now up to almost 2,000cc running full custom casted cylinders. Mostly triples. A few inline 4 cylinders.

Wonder if it has a counterbalacer of some sort. That thing cant stay together long thats for sure! Thanks Huffa. It wouldn't need one as long the first piston is 180 degrees out of phase with the second. Theoretically, it should run smoother than the stock single-cylinder.

I would like to see how they lined the sprockets up on whatever they installed that motor in. Because if they had the motor mounted centered in the frame, then the sprocket is in the center of the motor because of the 2nd cylinder added, so the sprocket and chain would basicly run through the middle of the frame also. I wonder how they would get around this??

Does anyone see what Im saying or did I just confuse everyone beyond all means??

In discroll post he talked about graphing 2 cr 500's together and put it in a banshee...

From what I see, the sprocket alignment wouldn't be a problem. They only added another cylinder and lengthened the crankshaft, which does nothing to the transmission. The clutch is on the right side, so the sprocket doesn't need to be re-located. I just wonder how long a tranny could take that type of abuse. There have been triple Banshees around for years, but so far, no one has seen one of these twin 500s in the flesh, so as far as I'm concerned, it's an enigma.

From what is posted on the web, the one in the video is actually two engines mouted in tandem. However, as is typical, there aren't any pics of it anywhere. At least none that I could find.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, there are alot of two cylinder two stroke in ski's and sleds. It's the HP rating that sounds like a bunch of bull to me. The average double in ski's on makes 70-80 HP.

The first generation Tecate would be a great chassis for that motor with its single downtube.
