How would i go about tightening the chain? And is there any place on the internet that has pictures and a list of parts for the 350x 3-wheeler. I dont have a manual and i'm kinda lost. Thanks

this site has schematics of the 350X. Has helped me a lot so far.
The chain procedure is basically to loosen the two allen screws on the rear bearing carrier and loosen the set screw between them. Turn the carrier with the machined area by the sprocket and it will rotate in an off-center hole in the housing which will tighten the chain.

Well i tried to loosen the alan screws and tightening the piece that runs in the middle of the swingarm and it was all the way tight....unless i was tightening the wrong thing??? I showed the guy that i traded with and he says it needs a chain gaurd or some type of gaurd and it would keep the chain tighter? Im lost on this! What type of gaurd is he talking about and if i get this will it keep it tighter?

Hey out_of_order
First, Is it a 85 or 86 350X, the chain tensioner setup is different. You have to loosten the two allen screws, and the rotate the carrier clockwise (looking from the left) in the swingarm to make the chain tighter. The picture in this thread is of a aftermarket 86 style carrier, the 85 has big teeth on the left end. the 85 came with a spanner wrench in the tool kit to hook in the teeth and move the carrier. I have never adjusted a 86.
See number 11 in the pic. This rubber piece may be misiing on your trike. Also is your chain old and stretched? It may be too long to adjusted properly. You could try removing a link and or it may be time for a new chain.
