Well i guess i dont need a whole lot of help to throw it in the dumpster, but anyway here's my issue. The brake rotor hub goes onto the axle but the fade nut splines wont go on to save my life. Anyone know what might be going on here? I tried taking to material out of the splines on both pieces, 2 different stock fade nuts (both worked on stock axle) and i'm pretty much out of ideas. As near as i can tell i should have left this one on ebay, thanks TC...

My gess would be its not for a 350x. So the splines are diffrent.

Didnt know lsr made them for the X. Try a 250r fadenut.

Hmm ok, not to argue here but why would my stock brake hub go onto the splines and the fade nut not?? If nothing worked it'd make a little more sense to me...

I'm drawing a blank as to how the fadenut and rotor are setup, but perhaps the splines of the 350x and 250r hub are the same, and the threads are different...

sorry if i'm not making sense... having the flu makes me crazy...

weird a 250r anti-fade fit my stock 350x axle perfect and rad sells a axle nut that fit a 250r and 350x. What lsr axle did you use??? 300ex, if so, use a 300ex nut, it almost the same as a 350x/250r, except its shorter.

Ok i got this thing together i used a triangle file to masage the fade nut a little more, then i stuck it on as far as i could and just pushed against the snap ring to force it on. I got a couple stainless 'washers' made for the outside of the nut that go over the ring so i just doubled them up to get some more room.

The axle was stamped LS and a part number then dated XX/XX/92 i dont recall the exact #'s, but its in the carrier.

I should have it together and some pics once i get home from work thurs. I now need to hammer the sprocket hub back on using rubber mallets. I just realized it was after 10 and i'm sure the neighbors (town house) dont like all the noise this late. I dont know how the hell i'm gonna get it apart again but hey i wont ride it much, its a dual row carrier and with any luck it will be right the first time, i gotta have some good luck before too long.

To ad insult to injury i realized when i sold all of my parts i let the shock mounts go down the road, so i'll need to scoop up a set but i have everything else to make this thing go minus the chain...

Oh well anyway i made it work, i have another stainless spacer for the outside of the fade nut so there isn't so much of the threads sticking out. But i had to take the snap ring off the sprocket side to slide it into the swingarm, more pics to come when i get a couple more parts i accidentally sold. But it should be all together in a week or so, TC...
