I don't know??? What month/year was the article in? I appreciate the compliments... I am looking for a TECATE to do the same style resto as I did on the R. Help!!! I am also still looking for a nice Z and I would sell my truck for a Tiger or Franks or Cagiva.

Wow, that Tecate is clean! Did you find it in similar condition or did you restore it? Either way, it's really nice.

Very nice, and WELCOME to 3WW!!!

We're not too far away from each other, I live in Pocahontas. Any good riding spots down there? or have the gas drillers occupied it all?

Thank you guys!!! It feels great to have some positive feedback. The wife hates them....or maybe the money spent on them. hahaha. Yes, the TECATE is 100% original. It is my 2nd favorite. I will post some more when I display them in my shop. Great to be around 3 wheeler guys. You know, we are just nice people :)

Very sweet collection. I have a 81R but it will never look that nice. That thing is beautiful.

You get nothing but respect here man.

orangecounty was selling a tiger project a few months back - he might still have it for sale?

That tecate was from vintage also, right - i remember seeing it posted here before from him. Not too many all original reds around.:beer

so what do you use for a daily rider? You must have something to relieve the itch to ride em....

Very very sweet start to a respectable collection. That 82 R is simply stunning. Hope you find the rest of the trikes you are looking for. So the next tecate, are you gonna do a Jimmy White replica?

razorbackatc

Yes, The Jimmy White Replica IS actually what is next on my list to restore. Yes, the TECATE came from Mike. I love it. And no, right now I don't have a rider. I would be happy with a 110 rider. I just can't bear to crank them and ride them. Unfortunately(what most think) mine are all fogged and properly stored. I may start them all one day...not any time soon. Thanks for all the nice comments. I appreciate them. Yes, orangecounty sold the 125 project Tiger. I had looked at it at one time but timing wasn't right for me then. He is a real nice guy.

All extremly nice but why is it you post such poor pictures of them?

Top notch trikes deserve top notch pictures with a nice background to enhance them even more, not take away from them.

"Unfortunately(what most think) mine are all fogged and properly stored." .........what does "all fogged" mean, misted down with a metal treatment tp protect from rust ?

Ahhhh... seeing the Tigers and Cagiva in the shop rekindled your fire for one I see:lol: . I saw razorbacks machines in person and they are an amazing start to a collection :beer . Glad you jumped on the boards. You and Prohemi "coming out of the closet" is a great thing for this site. !!!!!

You guys are too nice. I said I wasn't going to post any pics. Well, I had to. These are too nice to not do it. I give Mike at Vintage and Orangecounty thanks for all there help in my restos and obtaining my new rides. I love them all. I will post pics this spring when the grass gets green. Fogged just means the cylinder won't rust. I have no Armour All or anything on any of them. The just shine real nice. This year is full of fun too. I am going to do a TECATE RACER restoration and try to find a Tiger. I keep everyone posted. Does anyone remember the Turbo wheels from the 80's? I think they were anodized and had this cool billet center. I am looking for some. Take care.
