85 Tiger 250

Its NOT "mint" but its not restored, bought it from the original dealer last year. Was a demo model and then just sat around for 20yrs. It also came with a Certificate of Origin, so I could title it if I wanted. (can't beleive he still had that in his files. It does run, but I do not ride it much.

225DX dude, nice collection bloke. How does the 225DX compare to the 250SX. Are they close performance wise?

I remember back in the eighties I had a ATC250ES but I nearly got a 225DX and I always wondered about the DX. I know the Super Red was a tad to undergeared for my tastes.

A mate of mine had a LT230 and his 230 used to beat my 250 in top speed which was always annoying. In the reds defence, the LT understeered liked an oil tanker and had no rear suspension.

About as mint as it gets for me. Same old pics you've seen before because i rarely have these trikes in the same location for some reason.

But if edog can post the same pic in twelve different threads, I guess every 6 months seeing my same pic isnt too bad.:rolleyes:

But these are my "show" rides and the 87 200x is getting there soon. None of my trikes are 100% stock - i like to put on some custom goodies here and there to make them "mine".:naughty:

The 250SX is a little faster than the DX. But the DX to me is a better trail bike. Both machines are stock. The SX also a little undergeared. Yes they are pretty close peformance wise....

Not a full proper restoration but i would like to use it. I dont want to be scared to ride it. I bought it in boxes as an unstarted resto, the seller had taken it apart but given up. MOST of it was missing or unuseable. I owe a lot to Glamisand and a lot of other US sellers :beer I wont make excuses, it still needs lots of parts, but i'm geting there £ by £ .

Things have changed, like the 250R , 225DR and the 200X (sold that one and got a better one) The 250R is nearest i have to restored. The 86 Z is very clean for a 22 yr old.

Yup. It has the front light on it now and bar grips, new rear tyres and an original front one. Looks like a bag but it just needs clean, i dont have any recent pictures. It is complete but could use new front and rear fender's to finish it off. Nice bike to ride, auto and 4 stroke but does seem to run hot :wondering :wondering Bought it off Ebay for £75 ($150) :D

Here' s my "collection". The 200E just went to a buddy. The ATC70 is still here but I bought a LT80 quad for my son to replace it. Its in pieces so no pics yet. I'm trying to talk myself into selling the 350X too and buying a quad. Anybody????
