WOW! Nice find man! Thanks for that. I love that old school modded scoopless tank. I've seen that one time before. That is also the first Westcoast swingarm I've ever seen on an 83-85 200X.

yea thats strouds old pro bike, i talked to him about it in ashtabula in '06. he went on to win the 4 stroke A class that day, i took 4th. *shameless plug*

i told him "man that is a nice resto right on!" hes like "its not a resto, its exactly how i raced it in the '80's" i was like WHOA. it even has a tec sticker from the last race it entered in.

here are some more pix my friend dave took:

Hey Scrawny, I may have to hook up with you. Didnt realize you raced TT. I am planning on racing Production A next year on my YFZ. As soon as I get my 200x out of the way Ill be breaking it down and setting it up. I will probably be running the Motard again in Circleville. I got 2nd overall in Amatuer 2 years ago, and didnt make it last year. Definitely need help getting mine dialed in...

Wow! :beer Now I know what my wife's Auto-X will look like. I plan on using the same color scheme for her's. Does anyone know how they did the scoopless tank? I sure hope it's not just Bondo.

Yeah I love those colors together, I've painted mine the same way, and planning on doing a 250R in those colors whenever I get one.
That definitely is one hell of a trike.

Nice machine and great colour scheme.

How do you adjust the chain on that sucker. There are no clamping bolts on the back of the swingarm (like a honda) and it is not a swinger type (ah la Banshee) of adjuster?

Theres adjusters on the frame that pull the swingarm in, or push it out to adjust the chain. It's kind of a pain, but you get used to it after a while.

Rear brakes work just the same without one. I guess if you were a real weight nazi you wouldn't want the added weight of the block off plate:lol:

I don't believe they do. I won one on Ebay a while back. It looks just like the one in that pic and I believe that Powroll was one of the other bidders that bid against me.

Don't take this the wrong way, just as constructive criticism. A smaller front # plate and larger tank decals would even that X out and look way better. Otherwise, that is a beautiful piece of machinery nonetheless.

No, I hav'nt. I was planning on tackeling it yesterday but decided to go up to Galion and do some Motocross instead. Way too many things going on as of such. I hope to get to it next weekend. When I get it done I'll post up some vids of some short drag runs.

Yes, that is what it is on. You have to do some mods to the lever to make it work.
