Is the fuel filter clogged? Clean out the carb, may have some junk in it.

is it getting spark all the time? enough fuel? enough compression? did you try starting fluid? try pulling it behind a car or bike while in gear.

I had one that did that and it was the spark that was intermittent. Make sure you have a good blue spark.

Check your pulser gap, its under the cover on the side of the engine that says cdi. Check the gap should be .015. Also make sure its clean with no red dust.

How would it get red dust???

Moisture, creates rust on the rotating assembly which vibrates loose. Eventually it builds up in a red dust. Being mainly Iron it interferes with the magnetic pulse

You need to clean everything electrical and to do with the ignition. Take some fine sandpaper and wd-40 to the contact point in the pulse generator, set the gap. Make sure your getting fuel. Alot of this is things that you should do before asking, it's simple, check for spark, fuel, and air, and always make sure the carb is clean, and the air filter. And, you need a fuel filter.

What have you checked?
