Title and pics pretty much sum it up. Bike's a pretty nice original aside from the .40 over fresh top end along with a rebuilt lower end. The swinger is a 2" stretch Cal-Fab. The bike came with all the original parts as well and a title!!! I'm feracking stoked! It's my first Yamaha trike and cant wait to see how it stacks up with my R.

Can anyone identify the pipe that is on the bike. I didnt find any markings on the pipe or silencer. By the way, is the light in the headlight housing an "over heat" light? It hasnt come one as of yet.

Merge, do you store your trikes like that all the time? Does it flood them at all? Is it bad for them? I just thought id ask because sitting them down regularly takes up alot of space... Let me know, Thanks

P.S. not trying to hijack thread... Nice looking Z you have there!!!

Well, I havent had any problems with standing them up like that yet. I too run out of floor space and this is the only solution I have.

I'll try to get soem more pics up tomorrow of the swingarm and one of the silencer. Thanks for the help, I am pretty much in the dark on the Yamahas. I really wasnt looking for a Z but I do know how rare the 86' can be in decent condition and priced right so I jumped on it. The owner that I got it from said all the aftermarket parts were already on the bike when he got it. Although, he was the owner who had the rebuild done by a local shop. It's suppose to be ported and polished but who knows, I do know that it has way more low end than my R does!

Look's great , it's ok to store them on their rear end ... just make sure you give the 3 wheeler 10 min's for all the oil to settle on the bottom end ...

Mine start right up no problems

The little red light on the headlight is a temp warning light, If its a wired in correctly when you kickstart the bike the light should come on for a split second as a test to show you its all working. If this isn't happening it means something is not conected up so it wont come on if you overheat. Hope this helps.

The radiator shrouds were on the R when I got it, I believe they are just Maiers.

EXCELLENT! The light does come on right when I start it and then shuts off.

So I rode the Z today for the first time.........WOWOWOWOOW!!!!! I cant get over the low end this bike has compared to my 250R, holy %$^T!!! I think the R is faster and has longer legs in the top end, but out of the hole its no where close to the Z. We are heading down to St. Joe state park tomorrow to enjoy the warm weather and see how this thing really performs. CANT WAIT!!!

WOW..............you are from NY and searching the St. Louis ads or is there an option that you can search the nation with? If there is, please let me know how i can do that. Yeah the seller came down on the price, he was getting ready to go through a nasty divorce and justed wanted it gone before she got it too.

LoL trikers get around when were looking for trikes and parts. Nah i search different ones in intervals. Great. Glad you got a killer deal. Divorces are the best buys. You can always steal whats being sold!
