Hey guys,
Just joined this site and it seems awesome.
First off, :TrikesOwn :w00t:
I have a couple of things you could call trikes,
One is a 1982 Yamaha maxim 400 that i picked up for 150 bucks with pretty low miles for a bike,it wasnt running,so i cleaned the carbs real extensivly and she fired right up.I bought the bike with intentions of using the engine for my golf cart, but it was just to nice of a bike to wreck so i came up with this idea of taking off the rear wheel and welding an old atc axel on the rear end.Well i did that and it sure was worth it.The axel had a few more teeth than the stock sprocket so this thing had alot of torque, would do wheelies all day long. But,sadly,i was mudding in a swamp with it and i revved it up a little to high(about 10,000) rpm, dropped the clutch, and broke the 1st gear into pieces.I recently found a gear set on ebay and bought that and im gunna try and get this old beast goin again.I have had it up to 71 mph doin a dirt road and i could have gone more but it was gettin really squirrelly sliding all over so i slowed down lol.
Im also going to extend the swing arm and mount a longer travel shock on the for a little better suspension.
heres some pics:

i have an old harley davidson 3 wheeled golf cart with a Kawasaki 340 twin sled engine in it.it goes pretty good but is very hard to control at high speeds :D
i also have several snowmbiles and some other crap(gocarts minibikes..etc)
once again great site i love 3 wheelers!
