Been out looking at the bike. My first problem is the rear sprocket. There is a snap ring on the left side and the carrier?? (swing arm end) on the right side. The sprocket is quit loose and will jiggle back and forth. Is something worn out or can it be tighten by the big nuts on the right side?
I also need to tension the chain. I can see how to adjust the swing arm, my problem is how do you know you have both sides adjusted the same? Just count the turns of the adjusting nut on each side or what?
Thanx for any help....

Yes count your turns and make sure your chain is in a straight line not pulled to either side. your rear sprocket has a rubber cushion maybe they are totally worn out, they are there to help with chain slap on the transmission. have fun! im about to do the same to mine!

ok the rubber must be completely gone. I also tensioned the chain back as far as possible and it is still loose. Do I need a new chain?

behind the chain adjusters, on the frame their should be about 5 little vertical lines, when you adjust the adjusters make sure both are lined up with the same amount of marks on each side of the frame. see the pic.

Almost all 200X's have play in the rear sprocket hub. It's not a huge deal, but it isn't going to get better on it's own, and it's hard to find good sprocket hubs now. Unless you can still buy them new?
I've never checked,I doubt it though.
Mine was pretty bad but I was lucky enough to have one come on the axle that I bought off a member on here.
It was still loose, but definitely better.
