Hey i read many posts about tuning the timing on the atcs.
but heres whats up, i have a big red and so does my uncle, but his will idle like a champ with one pull, mine will die if left at idle, i have rebuilt the carb, adjusted it to stock settings, but it seems to search for its idle. if its been warmed up, rode for most the day it will idle, but its still rough.
i have the motor at TDC, im looking at the flywheel with the T mark, and my CDI isnt lined up completely. should i adjust it so they match at TDC? also inside the CDI it has a little rust powder everywhere, should i clean the rotor off with some alcohol?
i dont have a timing light, but i would love to learn more about his, i think my XR200R could benefit from it as well.
