im 31 and live in nc got a 1985 200x from my brotherinlaw for a $100 motor on it smokes like a diesel but has another good motor with it. plastic is rough and so is the seat. did i get good deal?

Its a little rough but Well worth the $100.00. MY wifes 200X was way far worse than that when I got it. I'm sure many of the fine folks here on this site will help ya get her back in shape. Enjoy. Also:welcome: to 3WW.

i hate to say for just messign aroudn the yard those tires are fine and you will neve rhave to replace them but if your getitgn serious abotu trail riding or even recreational ridign and do yourself a huge favor and get rid of those rear tires
pick up a nice set of 400ex stock tires or kenda klaws or soemthign anythgin but those lol
but 100bux well spent

nice score for $100. Get the seat recovered, some odds and ends, and swap out the motor and you'll be good.

thats one thing for sure i wanna do is get a seat and back fenders.like said before not much money to play with. 2 kids and wife one paycheck. not much to play with.lol like to get new covers for front forks the boots.like to get some new grips to.been looking at bone yard for parts. has anybody got anything from them before? thay ahve a seat for 35
