what do you guys think the value of a engine out of a 84 r this is how the guy discribed it

yes i have one, and I am asking 600.00 for it. This is my show piece motor looks very nice. very detailed paint job has black and silver look. all the air fins on top of motor and bolts and honda logo on side covers has been sanded down to bare metal and clear coated while the rest of the motor is black of course. I had top and bottom end rebuilt. This motor has not been run since rebuild it is bored 60 over with wiseco piston.

I'm not sure what it's worth, but I'd ask for reciepts before I did anything. I'd be willing to pay around $500 if he has all reciepts and look as good as he says.
If he can't provide any, then I'd be a little skeptical.

For a detailed motor like that, I don't think his asking price is bad at all.

Like said though, find out who did the work and receipts of it.

Your certainly not going to buy it just from his description, can't you get any :pics: ?

What kind of paint did he use ?

:wondering ....... "Bolts sanded down to bare metal", they are bare metal
