I heard that Dura Blue makes a axle for the 200x, but I can’t find a listing for the 86/87 200x. Does anyone know if they actually make one for the 86/87?

MY BOOK shows no listing for the 86-87 200x but that dosnt mean that one dosnt cross reference, best bet is to give them a call.

search the forums... i believe the 84 250r axle is a VERY VERY close fit with very very minor shimming involved and in some cases, none at all....

I use a 83/84 250r axle on mine. Fits perfect, the toughest part is getting a 38t(or less) sprocket and getting ALL the hardware off the 83/84 250r.

Thanks guys. Dura blue emailed me back and said they don't make one.

I just scored a whole swing arm carrier and axle off of ebay. Paid a little more then I wanted to, but it had some parts that I needed anyway.

No they don't make one for that those years.

If you had a 1983 to 85 200X you can use the 81 to 82 250R axle they offer.
You will have to use a 81'82 250R sprocket and sprocket holder.
