I always try and keep my knees off the tank but its got a heavy layer of clear on it so if its starts to wear thin then spray her again:D
yea but the clear can get effect from the fumes under the lid it will creep under the clear becouse of the weak basecoat, take some black trv sealent and go around the outside of the filler neck this will help seal the paint edge and make it last longer.

And ya I kno what its like to have a thin wallet, but before I pay you I gotta pay your mom :naughty: And that crappy XC will rape your little POS........when I get her runnin right.

That looks sharp, really nice !!
If it was me, I'd make a pattern from tracing paper and install clear vinyl over it.
http://www.mxsouth.com/nstyle/n-style-backgrounds-numbers-letter-kits-background-sheets.htm
I make my own graphics sometimes and that's what I do to all of mine, then you don't have to be cautious one ioda about getting it muddy or anything.
This whole shroud graphic and logo took me a good 4 hours to make and it will stay looking nice forever because I did just that, made a clear pattern to install over top, it will never, ever wear through.

Yea, I read that you cleared it but you need vinyl to protect the clear!

Some cycle shops have it sometimes but I usually just order it from MX south, link I gave you.
The stuff is very heavy duty!! Mud like this on the inside of your pant legs would wear your clear down prettyy quick, you won't wear that vinyl down though!
It's great to put on area of rear fenders that get scuffed up, they will stay looking brand new, I wish I had done that with my SX when I 1st got it :(

.......either that or your brain is not thawed yet from the Alaska temps
How cold is it up there usually, -20 to 20 + or something ?
I always watch that Ice Road Trucker show, those guys are nuts!!
You up by that area ? What do you do that you only got that much sleep ?
I could never live in the climate although if I was born there I guess you get used to it, naaah, it must totaly suck no matter how long you live there
Give me 70-90 degree weather and the beaches :D I'm daydreaming of springtime already :D

Yeah, It might be a little frozen still, I was outside for quite a while...had to do some work around the igloo:lol:
It usually doesnt get really any colder than about -10 or so, its really not that bad....maybe I'm just used to it. I really dont do anything to not get that much sleep (as I'm an un-employed, home-schooled student) I just had WAY to much caffine and sugar:drool: I wasnt actually born here tho,,,moved up from Cali. when I was 1 year old,,,so i guess basically all of my life.....and to think I would still be there if my mom didnt move up here because somebody down there asked where squirls laid their eggs:lol:
Damn it would be nice for it to be 70 degrees again...
