Hey why u guys are talking a bought the 300 kits i know it takes a 76.00 mm piston but what snowmobile piston does it cross reference to skidoo or articat or what thanks if u know it would be a big help
you have to have the cylinder "modded" for that piston to work, so evenif you have jsut the cyl and head you dont need to try to find a original piston, I sold my piston, one of the last around. Im waiting to send my whole setup off for a new sleeve and everything.

thanks man you never just tried to mill a little off the head or take some off the top of the cylinder or do you know if any one has tried that befor
it can be done, but if you start messing around without the proper knowledge of what needs to be done to the specific engine you can make it turn into a pile of trash real quick! I got real discouraged at my 300 I finnaly found a piston kit (honda) then when it was getting bored to fit, we found cracks in the sleeve, so now its junk untill I get a whole new sleeve fitted for it, but since thats happening I will have it fully ported, and the bottom end done as well, around 800+ dollars now, so its on the backburner untill my 500R is done

Here's a pic of the difference in deck height between the pistons.

And here's a link to a good place to get your cylinder decked to accept the wiseco piston.

My cylinder is currently being decked and ported and I'll be running a wiseco next season 76.44mm.
