Check out my score from only 10 miles down the road! I offered $900 and he actually took it! Not sure about the history, but l;ooks like a solid score to me.

Thoughts?

Wow, that's great man. I had an '84 as a kid, but man, they look the same. That brought back some good memories of that trike. Have fun with it!

WOW! nice find. Just goes to show that there are still some unmolested specimans out there to find. One of my favorite Hondas ever made.

So cool to look at a 23 year old machine that still looks showroom, I hope you intend to keep it that way ?

Awesome! I would love to find one like that, especially since that is the same model as I first started on.

Beautiful is the only word to describe that one!! Outstanding original. Hope you plan on giving it lots of respect. If so, it will go another 20+ years.

What's the story on that, how did it remain not ridden all these years, are you the 2nd owner ?

I really don't know how it remained in this condition. The guy I bought it from said someone used it as partial trade for some paint and body work. He apparantly owns a paint and body shop. I think he just did not know what he had?

The only defects are a couple of rub marks on the tank close to where the seat touches the tank, missing tool kit, and also a small crack on the front fender. I am trying to find another fender so it can stay showroom. I do have the owners manual and a receipt from a dealer that has hand written on the invoice "not responsible for bodily injury or DEATH!" To be honest I really want a 1985 atc 70 for my son and am talking to a guy about a trade. I'm really reluctant because these are so hard to find. Maybe I should just let it sit for a while and see what happens.

Thnaks for all the cool replies.

Man, if you can swing it I'd hold onto it... thats the kind of machine that as soon as you sell it you kick yourself. Trikes in that condition are getting far and few between!! ;)

That is my old 125, sold it to a guy in Hendersonville a while back.

I bought it a few years ago from a guy in Lenoir who had bought it from a guy that used to own a Honda dealership, supposedly in Charlotte. The story was that the 125 sat at his house in the mountains and only ever saw use when it snowed.

I bought it, scooted around the yard twice and then put it in my basement, where it sat for a couple of years...

Good luck finding a NOS front fender...I looked and looked. whatever you do, dont put an aftermarket fender on it. any collector would rather have a cracked correct fender than a cheap looking aftermarket fender

Yea, yea, yea. I'm the guy that wanted that 125m. Isn't it beautiful. The 70 that I was going to trade for it was in pretty good shape also. Hate to see her go. Hope you treat her right coolatc.

Hey Nicholas, hope you made it through the snow! We got home about 3pm. It was a long drive but worth it. I appreciate all the work you done on the 70. It will be a great starting point for me to wrap up the project for my boy. I look forward to working on it.

Here is a pic in case you did not take any.

I agree that the 125M was one of the nicest in existence, but the 70 you got for it is really nice, too. A lot of guys will be asking "why did you get rid of it?" without thinking that you did it for your son. Yeah, it's nice to have a pristine trike like that, but when you put it before your own child, that's terrible. Good for you. I'm sure your son will love that 70, and it's good you're starting him on a trike so he'll know how to ride one even if he does transition to quads later.

No No, I did not trade it I still have it! I was considering trading it, but I think I would have lost money in doing so. Maybe once the boy masters the 70, he can slide on the 125M?

Actually I would like to trade the showroom condition 125M toward a 350X or 250R rider. If anyone is interested let me know........
