Anoyone's old Tri Z?

I just bought this last saturday from the Darien Lake area. I was wondering if anyone has had the trike here on the boards. I payed 500 for it and it runs. Since saturday I have totaly torn it down and the frame got dropped off to blasters this morning. I will be looking for help form the yammi guys on here since I am a honda man.

500 smacks? Thats great!! Have a BLAST until the kicker case breaks, hopefully it will run long enough for the water pump impeller to fail and seize the motor. I think scrap is up to .05c a pound so you'll do OK..................LOL :P

OOOO .. thats not vey nice.. even if its tired worn out and runing on a 20+ year old water pump.:drool: ..it should still easly out power any honda 4 storke.!:naughty: !! lmao!! nice buy!! you will have fun with that 5 spd-z such a blast!!

I dont think we will have to worry about the water pump and old parts since this is going to get a complete overhaul. I think I may have to go with a 450r swinger in this, why did Yamaha put such a heavy swinger in these things?

i had a friend who had a Yellow tri-z with a red seat in central NY almost 15 years ago....who knows, could be the same one
