Well i wouldnt say crashed but whilst i was driving along side the canal the rear wheel got stuck in a rut and threw me and my m8 into the canal on my 200x.
As you can imagine it was very cold in the water so we got out straight away whilst my 200 was upside down floating in the canal.
When we was trying to get it out we just kep laughing about it and it kept slipping back in so it took about 20 mins to get it out.
Anyway once i got it out it wouldnt start so i had a long long push home.

if i would have seen my X floating i would have been hauling ass in that water and getting it out. any trike for that matter. for some reason when i crash, everytime i get up im more worried about the trike then my own self.

yep, same here, launched my raptor one time (60+mph and an unprepared for road approach... let your imagination run) I fell off and blacked out. When I came to, two guys who had stopped when they saw me were standing next to me, and offered to take me to a hospital. I asked them where my 4 wheeler was. It landed nice and soft and rolled 60' down the path. So I got up, told them I was alright, even though I hurt like heck, got on, and rode home. They offered to follow me home incase i had any problems so i let them. That was a wild day

I hope you drained the air box, removed the filter and spark plug before you tried to kick it over. Thats what did in my buds 200X, they tried pop startin it with a water logged motor and the end result wasn't good to say the least.

Make absolutely sure that you have ALL the water drained out from everything, do several oil changes to get all the water out of the crankcase, pull the plug and kick it over several times, drain your carb and gas tank, and make sure theres nothing left in the exhaust, that is the worst part, because it will seem like its all drained out, but infact it will still hold a lot of water and wont let the engine start. Do those things and 99% of the time it will fire right back up with out a problem.

Ive sunk so many machines in creeks, rivers, lakes, that I lost count after about the 5000th time, and Ive never had anything hydrolock or flat out die on me. Just change the oil ASAP and drain everything you can, and Ive driven everything Ive sunk home 20 minutes later.

If youve already drained out everything and it still wont start, tow it down the road behind another machine and just keep it in gear until it starts, we had to tow my old 200s 2 miles before it finally started, because water got in somewhere after we washed it.
