I noticed last night that my 225dx sinks about 4" when I sit down on it. Since I only have 5" of suspension travel, 4" seems excessive. I haven't tried adjusting the preload yet. Do you think it will make that much difference? If not, how do I tell if it's the shock or the spring? Or maybe 4" is normal. I weigh 185lbs. What do you guys think?

The shock on my tri z popped up so bad the rear tires leave the ground. Now that's blown! LOL

Like Raffaman said. should come back up nice and easy...

Thanks for the replies.

It does move slowly. So, maybe it just needs adjusting.

It's at the factory setting of approximatley 57mm now. I have 10mm of adjustment available. Maybe that will help.
