Will a sprocket from an '84-'86 200S work with an '83 200X rear axle?
I ask because looking on http://www.royaldistributing.com/shoppingcart/MiddleRedirect.aspx?page=ATV2007%2F112.html, they only show a 40 tooth as a rear option for the 200X, while they have a 46, which is what I want, for the 200S.
One other quick question, what type of chain does the '83-'85 200X use?

You can go to Dennis Kirk and compare part numbers for the 200S and 200X sprockets. If the numbers match all the way up to the last dash, that is,
19-3004-50 and 19-3004-53 they will bolt on. The last number denotes the number of teeth, and the first 2 numbers determine the bolt pattern on the sprocket.

just out of curiousity...why in god's name would you want a 46?

Well it looks like it won't work.
Anyone know of any other rear sprocket that will interchange with a 200X?

Right now I'm running an 11/40 and the motor has to work pretty hard from a dead stop since it was only made to push one wheel on a lighter bike, So I'm trying to help it out a bit by running a larger rear sprocket. I guess a 46 is a little big. I'm hoping to end up with a 12/44 setup with 20's if I can find a sprocket. The bike it came out was built for high speed enduro races, so I'll still pull some decent top speeds out of it.

No I haven't, and probably won't until after Christmas. I thought about 18's but I think they would look a little funny on my X since the rear end has been raised, the fender gap would be huge, the stock 22's on there now look small. Yours look nice though, I love those tires. Do they come in 20's?

They come in a 20" size, but only for a 9" rim.
I'm not sure if you posted one in your other thread, but do you have a pic of your 18's with the fenders on?

you could have a custom size sprocket made.. sidewinder and sprocket specialists are the 2 to look into if i remember right

no, i'll try to get a pic of them tomorrow, it's a big difference between just sitting there, and when you're actually sitting on the bike.
